Shopping at Lloyds Pharmacy with your Fair for You Shopping Card loan

May 25, 2026 • Fair for You

Fair for You is delighted to announce that the Fair for You Shopping Card loan can be used at Lloyds Pharmacy.

This allows you to spread the cost of everything from shampoo and vitamins to NHS prescriptions, weight loss support and more.

We’ve heard from customers who have already used their Fair for You Shopping Card loan to improve their health and get back control of their finances, like one recent customer, who told us:

“A year ago I was in a really bad place - I weighed 30 stone, and was in a lot of debt. I knew I wanted to do something about both of those issues. Even though I was getting on top of my debts, I kept getting rejected by other lenders, which meant I couldn’t afford the help I needed with my weight loss. Then I found Fair for You, and the Shopping Card loan has given me a chance to get things fixed. The sooner you face up to your issues - whether it’s weight or debt - the sooner you can fix it.”

(Customer experience. Credit is subject to eligibility and should be used responsibly.)

In this blog, we explain shopping at Lloyds Pharmacy with your Fair for You Shopping Card loan - what you can buy, how the repayments work, and more.

What other help can I get with health costs and budgeting?

If you need help specifically getting pharmacy products like shampoo, tampons, nappies or toothpaste, you may be able to get these for free from a local Hygiene Bank. Hygiene Banks are like food banks, but they only provide hygiene, health and pharmacy products.

Some food banks also provide these products, and you can find out how to access them via Citizens Advice.

If you live in Scotland, you can get free period products - find more information on the Scottish Government website or via the PickupMyPeriod app.

If you are struggling with bills and budgeting, there are places to get help and support. For tools to help check your benefits, deal with debt or manage your budget, look through the resources we have listed here.
