How do I become a Good Payers Club member?

You’ll be automatically invited to join the Good Payers Club via email when:

  • You’re up to date with your payments and;
  • If your first loan is for a Food Club Card or Shopping Card loan and you’ve been with us for more than three months.

      *       If your first loan is for a Food Club Card you will need to have paid off your first loan balance and have been with us for 6 months to be eligible to join the Good Payers Club.

    We do carry out credit searches—but we don’t rely on generic credit scores. Instead, we focus on how you’re repaying things right now. We might also run identity checks.

    To give you the best chance of being accepted, we may ask you to share your open banking data. Sounds scary, but it’s not. It just helps us understand your financial situation better—and our numbers show it actually improves your chances of getting a “yes” from us.

  • We are wholly owned by the Fair Credit Charity. The Charity oversees and supports Fair for You in its work as a lender to financially vulnerable people and families.

    We provide credit to purchase household items directly from our retailers.

    You can choose to pay us back on a schedule that suits you too - we can be really flexible about how you pay (weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly, monthly) and for how long (between 12-52 weeks).
